I had a really good trip with Tower Tours, San Francisco.
Our guide George was extremely knowledgeable and kept us entertained with the history and fun tit-bits about the areas we were passing through.
Going with the tour , the first time one is visiting an area, vs driving yourself , has the advantage of also getting a guide who has knowledge of local history etc.
Plus, the hassle free trip where one just sits back and relaxes.

My tip - In Monterey, I decided not to visit the aquarium as then I would have missed out on the fun of roaming the streets.
I guess that would depend on which part of the world you live in.

Good to get a day trip away from city to enjoy beautiful California coast line. We were able to walk along the shore a few times to get closer of the water and fresh air.

We enjoyed the tour very much. The only thing that could have improved it was if “Mother Nature” would have cooperated more. But despite the rainy weather, my wife & I were pleased. The driver, Thomas, was very knowledgable and added good insight along the way. Additionally, his dining recommendations were great!

Thomas our driver(guide) is great and knowledgeable. It would be a 5 if not for the pouring heavy rain throughout the whole trip. Still have a reasonable trip.
